The cover was opened on the left for censor and resealed by white label and handstamped boxed “PASSES BY 23 CENSOR”. On reverse bearing PERMENTAL P.O. transit cds dated 4 JAN 41 and PUDUKOTTAH arrival cds of same date. On obverse bearing boxed “PASSES BY 23 CENSOR” in black ink. The postage stamp error with misperforated downward. Fine but with several stained. F.(1)
